As the leaves fall and temperatures drop, our bodies remind us that winter will be here soon enough. For some, that brings thoughts of challenging, but enjoyable, winter adventures that only the cold and snow can provide. For those of us who spend most of our time outside working, our feelings about the coming of winter weather probably don’t stir the same kind of enthusiasm. We begin thinking about cold numb fingers and toes, cheeks noses and lips chapped to the bone from thrashing wind and snow. The feeling of the penetrating cold drilling through layers of clothing and skin, coming to rest in the very core of our bodies. And at the end of the day when we’re finally given our freedom to search out a warm and comfortable place, our bodies are drugged by the delicious heat into a kind of glorious stupor. Ah yes, winter is almost here! Are you ready?

Cheers
